Hi sneezewort,the large species you saw is likely to be the Common sea slater Ligia oceanica at up to 30mm long. Porcellio scaber or the Common rough woodlouse is the one that normally makes its way into houses.And the ones that roll up are probably Armadillidium vulgare ,the common pill woodlouse.
