Cherries - they appeared about July and around here lasted a mere fortnight. Most of them fell and decayed before they were fully ripened. I couldn't find many ripe ones, a mere handful in total. I had a whole bunch of trees in mind all about the city and outskirts, but they had all failed to produce ripe cherries. One day a tree would be full of unripe cherries, the next they'd be all over the floor or brown.
So, that was strange, don't know if it's related. |
