I am off to the new forest this sunday, i have been numerous times as its relatively local, we have one of the small ordinance survey maps which we have previously used to plan out our trips.
I was wondering whether anyone local to the area, knows of any good locations to see the different species of deer?
if you give me names of good locations i can look them up on the map, any help much appreciated.
I am planning to get over there for 7/8 AM and hopefully get some nice pictures of stags with their antlers still on, have always missed the rut previously due to being in exmoor photographing instead. im a little late for the rut as from what i hear its dying down a bit now but hopefully i can get some decent pictures.
