Hygrophanous cap darkening at the margin; 'wooly' stipe complete with ring; tawny gills - If you hadn't found this on your lawn [though there may be buried wood underneath] and if the ring was slightly darker, I'd be tempted to say Kuehneromyces mutabilis but would doubtless be mistaken in my haste... |
