Hope you can't spot the constellations in this pic? It's a 30sec pic of nothing eg with the cap on the camera and records the defects eg hot pixels. These actifacts are superimposed on all my pics of 30 sec exposure via my astrocam but subtracted automatically so they don't appear in the finished pic.
I not suggesting all the stars on Wildherbalian85 pic are artifacts but maybe some of them which are distorting the constellations recorded. It would still be helpful in future if notes are taken to accompany star pics that need identifying such as date/ time/ sky direction/ camera setting etc. Just a thought
