Hello Mushruman,

As it looks like you are a 'foodie', (consumer) pay special attention to those you believe are Cltopilus prunulus as the pink gills are not always obviously pink, and I always found them difficult to separate from the white poisonous Clitocybe species in my early novice days.

Even with the Pleurotus species I am a little wary with ID's, as a good few years ago I sent off a pure white one which was growing alone on Willow and Kew got back to me saying that it was just P.ostreatus and that this species can be quite variable.
Now in the recent edition of 'The Forayer' there is an article about Pleurotus species, but makes no mention of the traditional 'Oyster' mushroom - P.ostreatus, as sometimes being entirely white.

Confusing, isn't it.
