The below links go through the range really, there are others out there but it all depends on what you want. The main point is the same with everything in that you get what you pay for. The more you spend the build quality is better, the sensor record rates are better and they come with add on sensors and logging etc.

The above model is a good starter and Maplin do deals every now and again with them and at 70 quid isn't to bad on the pocket

This is probably the next step up and includes a connection to the PC so you can log the data over the years. £170

For a named brand full starter the LaCrosse weather station WS3600 seems to get good user reviews at £200 but the sample rate was a little low was under the spec of the oregon I brought at the time

This would be the one for me (if I had the money), I have the previous version of this and it does well. £400

This vantage pro is the daddy for the amateur at £1200 though you'll need to be into your weather
