I remember searching Lulworth Cove for adders and walking away disappointed. Then I spotted a mother telling her child off. He was very close to an adder and didn't seem to reaalise he could get bitten.I managed to take a photo.
I reckon children are great at seeing things that we miss. Unfortunately they can also be noisy and scare everything off.
