i go daily to this here place. having only moved to south yorkshire 11months ago i am now seeing this ancient broad leaf woodland in its forth season of the year. today i picked and identified just over half a dozen fungi, and spent time IDing different tree spieces, as a confidence booster for myself.
i'd recomend this wood for even a just brief walk, though, have spent multiple days in there as it is just 2 minutes walk from my house. i will upload pics soon as the admin team let me, but google it, you wont be disapointed.
does anyone know of groups in this area? |
