I've never got a really good photo using any form of burst shot - but have achieved some perfectly acceptable ones
Whereas I've attained some not so shabby shots using timed single frames
I too would be loath to give up the extra reach of a crop sensor for my Wildlife images but a different story for my Landscapes.......
