welcome to WAB Dania,
There are many things you can make from produce taken from the countryside, Sloe Gin, many wines, I have 5 gallons of red on the go at the moment, we have 9 beehives so I like to make mead.
We are on a smallholding so I grow most of our food myself, if you don't have a veggie plot start one, there is nothing better than picking your food an hour before you eat it the taste is out of this world.
I also use 18 inch pots for things out of season and keep them in the greenhouse or the pollytunnel, have just planted potatoes and carrots ready for Christmas dinner.
Get a couple of good recipe books and I'm sure it will keep you busy, in the summer and later I spend more time in the kitchen than my wife, my best is tomato soup, if the Mother-in-law says it's great it can't be bad.
If you have room get some chickens we have 6 and they are great fun and the eggs are very good, better than watching the TV.
If you want any book titles or more about what I cook drop me a line.
