Hello, My name is Alastair, I live in Devon and work as a fencing contractor but I end up doing many things.
I very much enjoy being outdoors in the countryside and being able to see the wildlife of the region. I get to see many beautiful places that aren't open to the public.
I do alot of work for the conservation organisations, like Devon Wildlife Trust, which enables me to see some very rare species. This year I have been clearing Bracken to create habitat for the High Brown Fritilliary which is very nice to see thesedays. A few years ago I was privilleged enough to see a Large Blue butterfly (don't ask where!) which is probably the rarest species I've seen.
