My family and I have fed the birds for as long as I can remember. Before we had our bird tables we'd throw the bread onto our garage roof, and they'd come down and eat. It was a great time, we'd see so many different sorts.
Lately our neighbour and his girlfriend (in their late 40's early 50's) have begun to make a fuss. Banging on the roof to scare them away, and having confrontations with my parents. He has it in his head these are our own personal birds, and we're feeding them to spite them. He doesn't care about anyone but himself, which was his words today. He made a fuss saying how they poo on their washing (which they only hang out once a week).
Watching and feeding the birds has always been something I really love. But now they're making things really miserable, demanding that we stop and take down our bird tables. We took down one, and moved the other bird table so it was as far away from their garden as possible, but still, they persist in scaring them.
What should we do? What would you do in our shoes? Would he decide to complain about something else until we can't do a single thing in our garden anymore? Please help
