Tongue firmly in cheek there, I hope! Co. Durham is currently being marketed as a haven of peace and tranquility by the local tourist board - one way of saying 'nothing ever happens here'. However our bid for Durham City to become a City of Culture is firmly underway - if it's good enough for Liverpool and Glasgow...
