Some larva pupate in soil, others amongst leaf litter and vegetation. Leaf litter and vegetation can go quite mouldy - kitchen towel doesn't and is generally cleaner - no unintended extra bugs etc. (it's also easier to find caterpillars amongst the white towel!) |
