That's a great picture of M31 (the Andromeda Galaxy) which is the furthest object to be seen with the naked eye. It's 2 million light years away or, as Douglas Adams once said, a little further than the local chemist. It's really good to view it through binoculars while spooking yourself that the light you are actually seeing left 2 million years ago!
