I'm back in the landscape again after having some health problems but I'm now feeling better, at least better than I was a few weeks ago. While I've been away I've wondered where my life is taking me, it seems that I may be moving to Warwickshire in the next few months, weaving yarns at schools in the local area and possibly on the Newnham Paddox estate.
I know I'll be there over the Autumnal Equinox and on Sunday 24th. "Inspired By Nature" will be taking place there. For more info go to
www.education4conservation.org. If you live in the area it would be nice to meet some of you face to face. I'll be weaving yarns about the landscape, the equinox,
Badgers and other friends I've known. I've been told that I will have two young helpers, I just hope that they wont be frightened when they set eyes on me with my antlers proud, still they know they are going to be working with a Green Man. There will also be Wolves there, hopefully a beer tent, good food and other things to enjoy. So what ever the weather throws at you come along and join in, it should be a jolly good day. The Estate is wonderful, there is an amazing sculpture park, lakes and ancient trees, some of which I've got to know very well and as I say there should be a beer tent so you'll know where to find me if I'm not weaving.
On another front, I've been asked to submit an application for membership to The Society of Environmental Journalists, based in th USA. Though I'm not a journalist I've been told that what I do is like the old town cryer, so that is to be my user name. It should be fun as I have no editor or owner breathing down my neck so I can say exactly what I feel, great. Especially as I tend to look at the whole picture and go on rants that matter to me. We'll see how the yanks copewith my yarns. I'll keep you informed.
Once again, I hope to see some of you at Newnham Paddox, so, untill next time, go well.
Earth Hart.
