i will continue to feed her-when i see her-but her foot and eyes require urgent treatment.i dread to think of the slow, lingering death she's going to suffer.

i am particularly disappointed with the rspca and national fox welfare society whose voicemail is still full and therefore unobtainable.

at least ive had a response from the smaller animal welfare centres......

You most certainly have not exhausted all avenues of help for this animal. If you are convinced that she is going to die a slow lingering death then contact your local pest controller and arrange for her to be put down - there is nothing humane about prolonging suffering by feeding.

Nor should you be disappointed in the RSPCA response - their remit is to prevent cruelty. No one is being cruel to this animal what you are seeing would appear to be nature taking its course. It is for you to decide whether it is more humane to delay or accelerate what you apparently consider to be inevitable.
