I'm doing a project on coppice woodland and ground flora in Hampshire.
I have a few samples that I couldn't identify - any help would be much appreciated.
All are in vegetative state.
This was growing on damp logs in heavy shade.
Maybe barren strawberry? Otherwise juvenile bramble leaves?
These two are the same plant.
Basal rosette, thin leaves with wavy edge, more or less hairless.
Growing under densely shading canopy.
Possibly a tree sapling? Distinctive leaf set-up.
Downy trifoliate on prostrate reddish coloured runners.
Growing beside path. Square stem, thin leaves. Completely hairless.
In rosette. Very thickly downy. Growing under shade.
Any suggestions would be a major help. I have more photos of most of them if needed.
