Hi Herman, I have a large Kent Cob bush/tree growing in my garden, the cob nut is a fair bit larger than the usual Hazelnut tree nuts you find growing in the wild, also they are a slightly diferent shape, slightly elongated with a pointed end.

The taste is different as well.
