Hi, I just found this site tonight and it seems excellent so I've decided to join. Going through the threads on the mammal forum and there seem to be a number of keen fox lovers.
I've been filming these 4 adolescent foxes in the alleyway behind my house. It has garages that back on to it but none of my neighbours ever use it and it has become rather overgrown. An oak tree in my back garden has a couple of boughs that hang over the alleyway and I've been sitting up there filming them and they have no idea I'm there! Will be putting together a proper documentary on them soon (after I've finished one on Richmond Park) but I thought I'd put a clip on youtube for you guys to check out in the meantime. got about an hour's footage but this is just a minute long:
YouTube - A tree with a view: Red Foxes
I apologise for the shaky camerawork, as you can imagine, it's a bit tricky getting a tripod up a tree. Press the 'HD' symbol at the bottom right of the video to see in HD (provided you have an HD screen to watch it on of course). Filmed in Ealing, west London.
Anyway, I look forward to chatting to you knowledgeable chaps and chapesses :-)
