Hi Billy
Have you considered buying a 300mm f4 i.s and keeping 500mm i used to have 300mm 2.8 but i could not fit it in bag with 600mm f4 i.s so i opted to buy the 300mm f4 it fits nicely in bag alongside tthe 600mm
