need small grub/caterpiller thing identified

ok so my fiancee was cleaning up and found a huge load of something, she never described it well... anyway, into the vacuum (with a dust filter) nd their gone...

well im cleaning in the same area and i found this little critter... i cant quite work out what it is, and the hairs on it look like it maybe harmful

as i have a young child (under 2) who likes to eat things i need it ID'd so i can clean it up and not have them return

for reference, it is approximately 1cm long and i found a larger (and therefore likely older one) with almost no hair, but the same structure

it also is agitated by my breath (no not halitosis lol) it seemed attracted to it... but i think thats coincidence?

moves in a kind of bounding fashion (similar to a crocodile or a frog though does not leave the ground) with 1st, second then third leg pair, back end drags has what appears to be a butt (or something more technical lol) and a small "pincer like" structure at the back

appears to have no particular offensive ability, as i picked on up and messed with it and even the hairs are not irritating. although my finger skin is a bit thick so...

please reply quickly as i want to clear these up quickly and dont want to be plagued with them again.
