I have spent hours trying to identify this tree. I origanelly thought it might be a hornbeam, but then came to the conclusion it was en elm. However it doesn't seem to have a distinctly asymetric base at the bottom of the leaf. Any help with deciding if this is an elm and what species of elm would be very helpfull,
