I can't remember where I saw it originally, but I have seen something on the web, posted by a full-time photographer who has used oven ready chickens staked to the ground to get BoP to come down to feed. He set up a low hide in the area and 'bob's your uncle'.

Some might say it's cheating, but I bet if you asked pro's like Simon King, John Aitcheson and Gordon Buchanan if they used the odd 'trick' or two they would probably have one or two up their sleeve.
