I know exactly what you mean. What I'm really interested to see is whether the dog fox we see loses all the winter weight when the cubs arrive. He was really skinny last spring, but packed on the weight over the year. I'm half expecting all his coat to get worn down by the cubs (they chew on the adult tails apparently).
