Shame you can't come eeyore. The map and cairn were still there when I visited the Beacon last Wednesday! And I walked a bit of the Ridgeway myself yesterday, around Pulpit Hill and Whiteleaf Hill. Almost trod on a Roman Snail!
Anyway the good news is that the weather forecast has changed yet again
and it now looks like it will be OK tommorow, though there's a slight chance of a shower. So I've taken an executive decision that the meeeting is on! I'll PM the four people who've expressed an interest accordingly. |
