| How often are you finding dead birds and ones that have been attacked in the garden?
Compared to some i`m fairly new to feeding birds, i don`t find it a great site when you have to clear up the mess after a bird has been killed by a predator whether its a cat or bird of prey.
When you start to feed birds you get to know individiual birds and their ways, it knocks you for six when one has been killed in your garden, its not something i`m used to and i guess its the other side of nature, i was just wondering how often this happens to other people ?
You feel as though you havn`t done enough to protect them if you know what i mean, they obviously view your garden as a safe place to bring up their young, i know you can`t be their 24/7 keeping an eye on things, it aint nice to see when you lose one of your birds thats a regular in this sort of way. |
