I was there 3 weeks ago- sadly a cool overcast day with brief showers, so I didn't see Swallowtails + Norfolk Hawkers. The former are probably just about gone over now. Did see Hairy Dragonfly.
Birds- apair of Cranes have recently fledged 2 young + I did have 2 flight views of a Crane; also Bittern, Little, Egret, Marsh Harriers, Hobbies, Bearded Tit (excellent views), Cetti's Warblers, Yellowhammer amongst others.
Some nice fenland plants too. |
