Thank you, Chris. Yes, the Pennine Way is the grandaddy of all long distance walks. However it is very early days, nevertheless, I will need to get some training done starting in the New Year. I'm also back-packing the route and most important of all - good fitting boots or trainers.

I'm going to Upper Teesdale this Sunday walking from Bowlees to Dufton via Cow Green and High Cup Nick, all on the Pennine Way. I hope to get some good photos.
