Perhaps, and hopefully, the system has improved. To get back to your original request, we do take trees for granted and it's a good idea to request TPO's.
Just one last comment - the fairly new hotel on the southern A6 approach to Kendal was fined a couple of years ago for damaging yew trees on their northern boundary. During the development diggers had removed banking too close to the trees and cut off all the roots on one side. |
