I'm off now until Wednesday. I shall endeavour to put up some details then. Highlights were 54 bird species, and the best night's mothing of the year so far. Indifferent weather affected the other insect groups, but the day ended well with a decent bat walk with Noctule and Soprano Pipistrelles being seen and heard well.
Two new species for the site were found. Lilac Beauty moth, and a Leech whose name escapes me. Something like Theramyzon tessulatum. Hopefully next year we can have some funding to get a 'name' in and also some experts in the various fields that are understudied, such as spiders, and aculeate hymenoptera.
Cheers,
Adam
