A few years ago I heard on the news or paper or somewhere that a duck had a band put round its beak by some idiot.
It would have starved to death yet it had the sense to come out the pond walk through the villiage and knock on a door with its beak.
Well by luck or knowledge no one knows which the villiage vet lived there and he answered the door saw what was wrong and took it off the ducks beak,,the duck then went back to the pond.
I thought that was a nice story!
