While I agree it would be nice to name and shame the supermarkets, I also have some small sympathy with them.
It’s also going to be the same here that a few head bangers will dictate for the rest of us.
I can only think of a few solutions
1 All trolleys to be locked away every night
2 Employ more security staff so they would be able to patrol the car park area and stop people taking shopping home in the trolley, The cost of this would be an increase in prices, meaning we pay the price for these nutters again.
3 install more cameras and print the pictures of these offenders in local paper to shame them, also make them pay for recovery plus a fine, might even be possible to ban them from the shop in future.
