I remember being in the sea at Blackpool when I was a kid. The water was just up to my knees. When I came out, I had a red rash from the knees down and it was very itchy and sore. My mum had to smear antiseptic cream all over my legs.
God knows what was in there.....but I've
never had a reaction like that in any other place I've been to.
And I haven't been to Blackpool since!
