Cheryl: I saw masses on red valerian today at the seaside but they just don't seem to go on my valerian, perhaps because I have so many other flowers here. I am glad to read you have had good results with yours though.
Someone from Sussex Butterfly Conservation did a count today and had 1590 in one hour. Even I can't beat that!
