On the bright side though, your photos of the Bramblings are superb, I haven't seen a flock that large for years, we get the odd one or two in our garden during most Winters but nothing more than singles.

I would love to have a Brambling in my garden. I think they are fabulous looking birds. I was pleased with those photos considering the conditions.
