Just reading this and see you are Sheffield Hallam, doing media. Presumably they have some gear they could loan out to you, or at least let you look-see-practise. Might be worth asking them. If you are going to be there a while, see what lenses they can loan out (and which make).
The camera body will be a minor expense compared to lenses, so if you're a student for the next couple of years and can borrow lenses then that's a route I'd consider. |
