Have seen them the past two weekends, last Sunday at Slapton Sands, South Devon and yesterday on the cliffs between Tintagel and Trebarwith Strand, North Cornwall. Also saw some Small Heaths and Small Pearl-bordered Fritillaries at Tintagel, Common Blues and Peacock butterflies at Slapton Sands. Think I have already had a better butterfly year than the whole of last year! Hope it carries on. |
