But in all seriousness why not? Animals do tune into the responses of those around them so cows certainly could pick up 'accents' from relatives.
When I immitate the sounds my cats make, they respond to the same notes and vocabulary immediately. So much so that we sometimes make the same sounds together at the same moment - each knowing what to expect from the other. We may not be communicating sentences or even intentions as such but we're communicating a sense of bonding for sure.
