Mull, like Skye, is one of my favourite places. I could fill a book with listings of "hot spots" for otter. Forget it!! The harder you look for them, the less likely you are to see one. They will simply pop up when you least expect them. Last year, after a week of searching for otters, we were on the shores of a loch, and stopped for a drink on a walk, and an otter came out just yards in front of us with an eel - couldn't believe it. Just keep your eyes open, but don't try TOO hard.
