I am pleased to find this thread as I was about to start one in similar vein.
On monday morning, while a certain person was getting ready to go home I chanced to look out the window.. I called 'Come here now Henry' and the poor soul shot out of his bedroom thinking there was an emergency!!!! I dont normally speak to him like that.. just wanted a fast reaction
Well, there was of sorts
.. within 10 ft of my sitting room window there was a pair of Redlegged Partridge. They stayed for a further half hour gradually working their way back to the field.. so they may have taken the same time to work their way in. It was a wonderful sight. I do have pics but need to to upload them ... Cant do it just now.
Dont know if Henry has recovered from the shock yet hehe
