I have them in the classroom. We recycle some salad stuff ie cucumber lettuce the occasional tomato some fruit + they must have calcium. I live in Hove by the sea so have lots of cuttle fish from the beach to give them.

I change their compost every 3 weeks. They lay profusely in the summer and i am afraid the eggs are put in a bag in the freezer( to stop them hatching) and then throw them away.I have a seed propagator so the children can see them in the plastic.
