Walked past a few large clumps of this grass in Water-cum-jolly Dale yesterday and I don't have a book on grasses....yet!
Any ideas?....
I also see this plant on the valley floor every Spring/Summer through Cressbrook Dale. Although dry ATM, the valley is often flooded, so I presume it likes damp(ish) conditions?
The pale green leaves shine sort of silver in the sunlight....
