Had a short wander around Rother Valley country park today, not having been for several years, it was a nice suprise to see how the woodlands have developed, lots of wildlife about too, especially the quieter areas of the park,
saw a large Hare in the woods where it had made a home in a pile of dry leaves under some fallen branches,and also what i think was a grass snake, it had a yellow v shaped mark at the back of the head and it was also quite a dark colour, and masses of marsh marigolds in one area,
i shall have to go back soon for a longer jaunt, as there were several promising areas i didn't get to see today.
