£150 for a HD camcorder is quite low.
The problem with HD camcorders in this price range is even though they record HD movie files they quality of image coming through the lens and optics isn't perfect.
One model that is proving to be popular at the moment is the
Sanyo VPC-HD700 which records HD video at 1920x720p and has an HDMI connector.
Another antlernative would be to look second hand on ebay or similar for something a little better than falls in your price range.
