Parmelia sulcata has a distinct network of minute, white cracks on the upper surface.

This has no such cracks, but it is wrinkled and the margins of the older lobes are producing a white powder (soredia).

It is Flavoparmelia caperata.
When damp it is a striking apple-green in colour, but it dries grey.
