Hi David

Had a look in FoS and have to agree that Pholiota highlandensis is a strong contender. The only reservations I have are in respect of the stipe, the red brown colour of my find does not look right also if my memory serves me right the stem diameter of these examples was probably 10-12mm, P.highlandensis is described as 1.5-4mm.
It would be useful to get a few more views.
