I use neat image pro (as it has a PS plug-in) on images shot over 400iso. I normally just use it on the background or continous tone areas to quieten the noise down. I rarely use it on the main subject as it will remove detail as well as noise even if you download the correct profiles for your specific camera. In summary: good software if used carefully |
