BTW, noise levels seem to be slightly higher than average on the FZ30 when viewed full size, anyone used NeatImage or Noise Ninja to clean up images ??
a lot of those plug ins leave images unacceptably soft and thus do more harm than good, and anyway I have never seen much sign of noise in the FZ30 shots on here, IMO the key to noise reduction (with any camera) is to keep the ISO at 400 or below, which is where the decent lense on the fz30 is a benefit.

BTW Gill is too modest for her own good , her shots are excellent examples of what a good photographer can achieve with an FZ30 , although it is true that Matt's shots are superb to.
